Holy Hot Wings Batman!

I'm back... after a stellar extended weekend, it's back to business as usual. A weekend filled with fun and excitement, dancing, cleaning, painting, and oh so much more.

I finally returned to Kroger on Friday, after almost a whole month off. Everyone seemed to be sad as we were working, they say morale is low.

Hello!? I've been gone for a whole month. Of course moral was low. So I'm back now, and I think things will be picking up soon. No Fiddler Friday, so after work I went on a shopping spree with Milks. The spree ended Saturday morning at 6:30 am. It was a really crazy thing, but overall I think that we did well.

Sewing machine.....$60.00
Tea pitcher........$3.00
Dining room set.....$62.00
Driving Between Oregon and Toledo...$12.00

Beating to death this thing where you list prices of things, the summarize the entire lesson with a one word statement, telling that you had a good time....Priceless.

For some people there's sale price, and then there's clearance. It's everywhere you want it to be.

Saturday I slept until 1:00, and it was good. I did have to visit the dog that I am watching as well as the house I'm sitting. It was a wonderful experiance. That dog is so cute. SciFi channel had a Twilight Zone marathon all weekend so I watched a few of the episodes in between sitting on the couch and letting the dog out. After that I fixed a wall with Milks. It was old, pocked with holes, and stained yellow.
Now it's white. And it looks fantastic.

Sunday was a blur, I slept a lot, checked the dog, and the other house, and then had Fiddler rehearsal. I wanted to learn the bottle dance, so I went to Adrian and waited patiently while Mr. Joe taught the others the Russian dance in To Life. It's going to be a pretty good number, but I wanted to bottle dance. I did it in H.S. and I was good then. I can still do it. The director looks at me and says I see your here, but you don't need to be. I told her I was hoping to get in the bottle dance. Then Mr. Joe says he's only got it set up for 4 people.

4

And I'm not one of the ones listed.

Well just to be a smarty I got a hat, used a 1 liter water bottle, and danced the dance as Joe was teaching them. I am so good at it that it hurts. So I did it, then he suspended it until the next time, becasue he had to work at like 6 on Monday morning. That sucks.

Went home. Got up Monday at 7:00. I switched my hours at Kroger to get some more money while doing the shows, and since school is currently out, I figured I would be able to get morning hours. I did. I worked from 8-noon, and then went to Korinne's. We worked on the wall some more. Did some shopping, and then went to Jerry's House of Meats (Mainly Pork). It was the annual "Let's See Who Leaves First Competition", and defending her title is the oldest Milks child Jamithy. But worry not, there is fierce competition from Jamithy's twin, Kristi. It was a long contest and in the end with the aide of the Nick and Jessica Salute Tour, Jamithy remains champion, exiting only 2 minutes before Kristi. Always an exciting competition with everyone ending up the winner in the end. At least I think it's entertaining!

Milks and I went swimming during the electrical storm, sans electricity, and the little ones came in too! It was so funny watching Austin and Faith climb in and out of the pool, not because it served a purpose, but merely because they could. We had fun. I taught Milks the fine art of the fireman carry. She can now hoist my obese body into the air on her shoulders, and then fling me about two feet. It is the funniest thing in the world. She now can also put me atop her shoulders in the pool, ala chicken fighting. (I just realized if I rewrite my last line, I could make a chinese food joke!) The whole day was great, afterwards we returned to paint the wall we've been working on. It's a suprise.

Cut to today, the 8.5hr day at the bank with no real "break" time. I checked in on the dog this morning, ate some multigrain Cheerios, and made orange Jello for work. We did order in lunch. The Wing Station. Knowing how much I eat, I ordered the Mixed Meat Gyro with the Greek salad and onion rings. I also ordered a side of hummus with pita bread. A great snack for eating in the Croswell rehearsal room. Speaking of which, I need to get ready to go. Man, this blog stop took almost the whole day to complete. Whew! Ok, off to water the flowers, then pickup my bio for Fiddler, home for a change of clothes, then gas station, and finally Adrian!

It was a good weekend, looks like an even more productive week!
Have a fantastic day!
